    I put one of the highest bids in on a yellow 512TR listed by lamgorghini dallas on e-bay--but don't think it sold. Anyone know of the car or care to express opinions on a fair price?

    I believe that care belonged to a Dallas area FChatter that also owns an F40. He kept his cars in meticulous condition. Jonathon Peck at Lambo Dallas is a frequent poster and all around good guy. You might give him a call for more info on the car.

    The F40 has been sold, and the 512 is gorgeous. I saw it (again) on Monday. I'd say that if you're looking for a bargain, this isn't your car. If you're looking for one of the best examples available, it is.

    Thanks for your input. yes the value portion equation is something giving me pause at the moment--not looking for either a steal or a museum piece just a very good car at market.

    I also have seen this car and it is in fabulous condition. It also has the luggage with it which makes it interesting. In addition it has the bronze tinted glass which was a pretty high dollar option. I almost abandoned my search for a 512M for this car.

    i know the owner of these ferraris and i was just wondering why he was getting rid of both? My dad was down there and said a guy with a f40 was trading it in on a lambo. but when it comes to cars and Ferrari's my dad may own one, but he wouldnt be able to point one out inless it is a TR.

    just wondering why the sell of two ferrari's at one time?

    That was Chris's car I don't know where it landed and Jpeck is now at Ruf but who ever got that one got a great car, Mr B moved to California as he was recalled to the corp mother ship the F 40 went north to Seattle and I think ended up back here again
