i constantly watch ebay auctions and if a dino key fob was there, i would have seen it, especially for $200. i don't know what you saw unless it was VERY POORLY described. expect to pay $500+ if one comes up for sale.
if anybody noticed, there was an incomplete book set that sold on monday night for over $4800. i was one of the final bidders when i threw the towel in. the bidding, contrary to popular belief wasn't for the books. it was for the omea keyfob that was brand new with its wax paper package. i figure the books were worth $1500, best case. the key fob was worth easily $2k. i stopped bidding once i realized that the two of us could bid until our hearts were content but we both wanted the keyfob. i drew the line once the $4800 mark was crossed. an icor keyfob is just as expensive but more durable. i have a near mint icor fob, but have found the omea keyfob even more difficult to come by. for the record, the icor fob is correct for earlier cars, while omea fob is correct for late 73 and 74 cars.
There are two original keyfobs for Dino. ICOR and OMEA. I have seen both keyfobs ranging from $150 to $1500 (NOS with original wrapper). Most of used keyfobs are around $500. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

just for entertainment purposes, if anyone has either of these keyfobs with their packaging, i will buy as many as can be had at $1500 all day long. that being said, if anyone wants to sell any dino keyfobs, please pm me and i will buy your fobs, condition dictates price.

just about right. i am not justifying the market, i am just saying what i would pay. by all means, let the market correct me. i just want as many of the dino items that i can find to find a way to me. for what it's worth, p.m. me with all dino item offers. xhances are i will buy the items immediately.
John Kennedy charged $500 for each key fob back in 1993 when I bought two and the ICOR was used, the OMEA was like new. Believe it or not, the emergency triangle was stocked in the Ferrari parts counter Seattle for $25 in 1992...
Went down to Sillicon Bentley on sunday, they still had the red Dino in the back, it was sold the guy just has not come to pick it up yet. Its red, no options really, not a bad car. Said he got around 80k for it. It was a GTS. Vince
I sold mine in 96 for about what your chart shows. The peak definitely was over then. I didn't have any charts but for sure prices had fallen a lot in a few years. Dino Gt's were going for about 50K then depending on condition. 1996- 2018. 22 years is a looooooooooong time for a car value to change.
yes it is but if you own a car for 22 years that you really like it might as well go up in value.....sort of a side benefit...
