I found a new source for replacment sparkplug wire other that the dealer .
I was not too willing to pay 1200 for a set of wires form Ferrari so I had Nology make me a custon set for my 355. I sent them my set so they could get the length right and the next day they sent me a wonderful set back .
They used the stock Beru plug ends minus the 10K resistors which should improve the spark , There was one on each end . The wire is 7mm silicon spiral wound to fit throgh the gromet ,woudl like to have 8mm but no go with the grommet . They charged me 313 dollars for a set .
They now have the info to make more if anyone needs some .

    Very nice!
    Thanks for sharing that info.

You didn't tell Nology how much OEM plug wires were, did you?!

    Best,

Nice job , looks great. Still though it ticks me off that they would charge $310 for the set. Considering they are still 7MM wires if you look at any of the wire kits for the late model cars you can get a V8 set in 8MM with deep boots for $100-150. I guess its still the F word that causes this problem. You can go to Kingsborne and buy the parts or a wire set for around $150 with the same type wire and ends. I am looking at them for my next set but I'll just buy the parts and make my own. The 1st set I made without replacing the extenders only cost me $15 in 7MM wire. Enjoy the ride

Let us know how it runs without the resistors. Also, if the valve cover plate bolts down properly. Good Luck!

very great information. thanks for that. Do you know the BERU part numbers for the both ends ? The number will be moulded into the caps i hope. I already tried last year for this same thing and the auto electrical supplyer near from me did not have the matching pieces, but he said with the beru numbers is possible to order.

And can you tell to us if the radio has intererences from the engine sparks ?

    thanks

Great information exchange here. I checked, and Kingsborne does make a 355 wire set. Here is their web address:
    http://www.kingsborne.com/

No idea what the set retails for. The also sell bulk wire and Beru connectors seperately as Steve previously mentioned.
