they gotta beat the steelers first. I think they will. Although a Pennsylvania superbowl would be cool, i dont think it will happen.

I hope the steelers win, although i was hoping the jets could pull off a win last weekned and beat the pats themselves.

i didnt say they would win tomorrow, but they will not win the Vince Lombardi Trophy, especially if Terrel Owens can play the super bowl.

There's no Superbowl if it doesn't have Montana or Rice in it.

It's like late night tele withought Johnny or Ed.

Why bother tuning in without them?

I just can't get into watching the super bowl; haven't see one in years. The last one I watched was on a feed from C-band. There was no sound, just the images. It was unimaginably boring, at which point I realized all the hype is purely artificial-the game really is that dull for me. Now I apply the same test to other sports. If it can't be watched soundless, it is not the sport that is interesting and I turn it off.

Even though I have a bit of a personal link to the Pats (my family has rented Belichek's Nantucket house during the summer), I doubt if I'll watch more than a little of the game. This one looks to be very one-sided, considering that both Pittsburgh and Indy are far better teams than Philly, and look what good that did for them against NE.

I tried watching each of the games yesterday, but both outcomes were certain in the first quarter. Hard to hold much interest.

But the one thing worse than the SB is the Pro Bowl. If history is any guide, most of the top players from the Pats and Eagles will not show up (along with many from Pitts, Atl, etc.) citing "playoff fatigue". So you have a buch of wannabe all-stars playing at half-speed (to avoid injury), with no teamwork since they've only had a couple of practices together.

I must say after being bought up on fast paced aussie rules footy, and now watching a game that takes 30 mins to finish when there's 2 mins left on the clock is a little strange and boring. I'll watch it anyway
