Ferrari owners never dissing other makes? HA.

Please go make use of the search button for a few FordGT threads and lets not forget the recent C6 Z06 thread. Ferrari owners have done more than their fair share of car bashing or pointing out why their Ferrari is so much better than others.

"Have" implies possession. So according to your statement... true drivers only drive ferraris and don't own porsches. But hey...

Your original post wasn't that true drivers drive their cars, your post was that true drivers drive Ferraris. IE, your original post was as much as an insult as the comments about Ferrari owners having small dicks is an insult.

Most of us knew the point you were making, but it clearly could have been delivered in a better manner.

I guess since I have a few Ferraris, 2 Vettes, & a Lambo I must be totally hopeless LOL.

Maybe I should get a Honda Insight so people will love me, I'm feeling SO insecure. I should trade my Gold Chains in for a Politically Correct no personality ID card. Maybe I'll shave my chest hair too LOL

Here is my .02, FWIW. I think that Ferrari owners are guilty of bashing other cars, I think that Toyota owners are guilty of bashing other cars, I think that Honda owners are guilty of bashing other cars, so what does it matter. If you look at this board, and search for Murcilago, or Ford GT or Carrera GT, or (Insert any exotic that is not Ferrari here) you will find people who tell you "the murci is an Audi ba stard child, who wants all wheel drive on a sports car??" or (insert car bash for other cars here).

I own a Nikon D70, I read a forum relating to them, what do I see there? "Which is better the D70 or the Canon 20d??". You know what? I don't care!! I just dropped $1,000 on my brand new D70, I love that little guy to death, I have very few complaints about it. What if I had gotten a 20d? I probably wouldn't have any complaints about that either! I looked at the two of them, decided I liked the D70 better, it was ~$500 cheaper, had a similar feature set, and for me, much more intuitive controls, so that is what I bought.

It is really a shame that many people need to bash others stuff in order to feel good about their own, but whatever, that seems to be human nature for many. I personally go and make a decision, I look at the benifits of each, the downsides, and stick with it. I would love a Ferrari, I would love a P-car, and Audi tuned Lambo, an Audi, a VW, or any of the above.... what would be really great is if I could get one of each and ENJOY ALL OF THEM!!!

Its just like everytime I say, the Honda civic is a great car for family transportation, no need for a huge wing...and somewhere there is a guy sitting on a forum and saying "can you believe some what I overheard some ****** saying today?? That a wing on a civic doesn't increase my performance!! Bet he had a small penis!!", and you know, maybe it is a few sizes to small, but I don't care.

My penis was small even before I bought my ferrari. I bought it hoping it would grow, but nothing. It's still the same. Do you think it would help if I bought a more expensive ferrari? Or should I just reply to the spams I get advertising a bigger penis?

I have a 1964 Lincoln continental 4 door convertible. Its one of the largest, most ponderous vehicles on the road. I don't know what corrolation that has to the effective length of my anatomy.

What I do know looking from the outside/in of exotic car ownership is that I have been chasing cars since I was 10. I have always had very positive experiences talking to car owners about their unique vehicles. I believe its all in your approach. If you are not willing to take the risk to speak to someone, its alot easier to judge them.

Ferraris are an intimidating vehicle and for some, who cannot afford them or really understand their purpose, it is easier for them to write off exotic car owners. I also think that the hip hop stars are highjacking the exotic car market and trashing it in each video that shows half naked women fawning over customized Enzos and such. And you tell me what myths are applied to those fellows. In fact, I would like to see the perpetrators of the tiny pee pee comments to go ahead and tell Crazy Moe D Ice Man that in fact, he does have a tiny pecker. Now that would make a good video.

Just you guys wait. I'm gonna make a video for the 'average guy'. I am going to make a video of lucious ladies that are half naked and thralling thier bodies all over Chevy Sprints, Ford Fiestas, Gremlins, and Pintos. I'll bring this place back to reality and then start to accuse thier owners of the small penis syndrome. When its all said and done.....I'll be rich, sell my 308 and buy that Pacer X, that I have been eye-f@cking for years. I always wanted to be the guy in a fishbowl on a major highway........yeah, thats how things should be right?????????

Whatever. These guys are just jealous of the rides. I could care less what they think. I bought my 308 to have a piece of the dream, since I can't afford the higher end models, like the 288 GTO, which is my dream. Instead of accusing the better off comrads at this site of having small penises, I buckled down and at baloney sandwhiches without cheese and only drinking water for almost 2 years to scrape every coin I had to get the car. Luckily, during all that time of fasting my wallet, things got better and now I don't have to worry about afording my 308 and almost in a position to move at least one step closer to my goal. Moral of the story? Instead of accusing people of having a small penis, quit playing with yours and work hard, you'll obtain your dream whether its a Ferrari or an Austin Martin (subtitute your favorite car here), because I know the guy loathing over a Ford Focas probably hasn't really obtained his dream yet.

This is an interesting post , When I was 18 I bought my frist Porsche a easter egg blue 75 911S , I worked my way through porsches and have had over 10 911s ,many turbos . After I bought my 97TT I found there was now where left to go in the porsche world anymore , Thay became a sell out ,Just look at the cars they offer now and an SUV . Thne one day I found Ferrari , I knew who they were for along time but didnt know much about them . I did lots of home work and liked what I found , NO SUV . And there cars are a product of there racing which Porsche gave up. So now Iam 28 and have my Porsche TT and 97 355 . The weird thing is when it comes time to pick one for a drive I go for the Ferrari . I cant explain in just a diffrent kind of feeling .

Funny, I had some work done on the back of my house and one day I got home early and opened the other garage to take the 355 out for an afternoon jaunt. The guys working onthe back patio came around and I asked if anyone wanted a ride. They all got their rides and over the next few days they added a few custom pieces around the fountain, added electrical lines to the other side of the house and used slot board on the under-carriage of the patio with recessed lighting. The general contractor would only keep saying the guys were so taken back that I would be so nice. I thought I was just being "normal" but I guess that uppidy stigma is always lurking around us owners. F'um if they can't get past the ignorance. Same thing at work, you can be top producer, but the lead dog along with the best view usually gets shot at the most. I call people like these "crabs" because when you put a bunch of crabs in a pot, one usually climbs to the top, but then the rest of them pull him down to the bottom of the bowl. Same philosophy with just about anything you possess that is nice. Someone gets a new car in the neighborhood and everyone is saying you must have refinanced your house, etc....

This I can identify with. I wouldn't knock someone whose idea of ownership is parking in front of a population center--I say to each their own, but if you really value the car for it's performance, then the back roads is the place. My long haired blond copilot partner (who also loves to go fast) and I have racked up 10000 miles on the 97 355 in the last year, mostly on two lanes with sparse traffic, so we can enjoy any curves and straights we can find.

Only thing I can complain about is that we live in the Florida panhandle, rather than Colorado like I used to--not many really good curves here.

Spam is the operative word... Years ago, i bought into that "cream" gimmick... You know, "rub this cream on your twinkie and it'll get bigger..."

Well, now i'm broke, have HUGE hands and still nothing to brag about in the bedroom...

Nobody hates the car or the brand, it's just jealousy. We'd all love to own and drive a Ferrari, or 'Vette or Lambo, but not all of us can afford them. That can be frustrating. And for some folks, seeing someone else with a car they want (even if they say they don't) makes the green monster rear it's ugly head.

I'm guilty of it myself. While in school in South Florida I was broke. I parked cars at a high-end club (The Breakers) to pay my way. Every day I parked 930's, Testarossa's, Rolls Royce, Diablo - you name it. One day I see some knucklehead pull up in a car I was particullarly in love with (a 1991 348). No big deal, but after talking to the dude for a minute, it was clear that the guy couldn't tell the difference between a Ferrari and a Fiero, he just liked the prestige. And he was an ass about it: "OK, kid, this is a Ferrari, not some stupid Z28, BE CAREFUL!" he admonished, as I took the wheel. As I parked Mr. Drakkar Noir's car I was a little suprised at how pissed I was. I wanted to drive his car into the intercostal! And I loved this car. What the hell...

That's how it happened for me, but most folks at that place LOVED to talk shop about their rides. I loved working there.

p.s -I never, ever abused any of those cars.

Every group is going to stereotype against another if you listen to the wrong people.

I can understand some resentment towards Ferrari in F1 circles, but the rest of this is nonesense from people with nothing else to say.
