I want to tread lightly here... so please tell me to "stuff it" if you'd rather I not make posts like this: I've just received a shipment of Hill Engineering wheel sockets. Although I haven't been out to the garage yet to try them out, they are simply beautiful in their build, heft, and smoothness. I have them listed for $70 each on www.ricambiamerica.com, and I'll ship them via USPS 2-day priority (about $7.00) Do the math, and you'll realize you can't get them any faster or cheaper. Order tonight, they'll be in tomorrow's mail. It's better than waiting for a slow boat from London! They can be found in our catalog at: Parts Store - Hill Engineering Miscellaneous http://ricambiamerica.com/product_info.php?cPath=600_531&products_id=261093 Finally, I'm hoping to have another shipment of stuff leaving from London this Friday. If you want to piggyback on my freight bill, let me know and we'll get it going! Respectfully, Daniel
Why tread lightly, your on a roll dude, and your doing the ferrari comunity a favour at least in the US. Hill makes some great things,so do your thing.
Hell, run a special every week. Every day. Hourly specials would be ok, too. You pay to be a sponsor, we're your market. Take advantage of it. Don't the sponsor rules allow you to post as much as you want for sale? I'd love it if every sponsor was as involved as you are, listening to what we need, and doing your best to promote your company here. Weekly specials from every sponsor would be great. But, until they wise up, you make full use of your sponsor and respected member status here. Dave M.,
I just received one of the new special Aluminum wheel bolt sockets that Paul Hill very kindly gave free to the first three responders on his message about 10 days ago. I agree it is a very nice tool of excellent quality. Many thanks, and it is great to have a sponsor who engages with the customers.
So, find a way to allow yourself to post as both JRR and as a new sponsor for the site. Keep them seperate. Either way, two thumbs up for ya! I hope it all works out well. What does Ricambi mean, please explain it to the noobs.
Ricambi America is a play on the words that you see on the back of any Ferrari, Alfa, etc. item: "Ricambi Originali". It loosely translates to "genuine spares" or "original parts". The name was chosen because the mechanical items I deal with almost entirely OEM Ferrari spares. Of course I've got plenty of Hill Engineering, K&N, Hyperflow, etc ;-) I'm gonna keep my original screen name. I think my personality, passion, and business ethics are all wrapped up in the same person. If my salesmanship exceeds my passion for Ferrari, then indeed something has gone awry. Just like a diabetic uses insulin to keep their disease in check, I'm using Ricambi America as a way to monitor and control my Ferrari-itis. Kindly, Daniel
Congratulations on the website! It is a pleasure to have the information, pics and prices all displayed neatly and without popups, plug ins, flash animations etc.! If you export to Europe, what is the exact tax situation? Are the prices you see the price you pay (until the european authorities add their action to the item)?
