Are you related to anyone famous?

as i walk throught the hallowed halls i hear the whispers of people warning others that i'm the direct descendant of Satan.

i'm as yet unable to confirm nor deny such rumours.

 

Let's see...

On my mother's side, there was this little Irish guy who was with Sherman's army. However, when Sherman turned and marched to the sea, he missed the turn and ended up in Northwest Florida. The family likes to say that he was an itinerant Shakespearean actor and school teacher. I'm guessing that he was actually a carpetbagger.

On my Dad's side, there were four brothers who left Virginia (or was it Kentucky) apparently in a bit of a hurry. They ended up in Missouri where they married a bunch of Pennsylvania Dutch girls.

That's as far back as anyone knows!

So, do you're dad and his brother not talk or something since you've never met him? I'm just gonna take a hunch, that they probably don't.

Anyways, on my dad's side, no one knows for sure, but we think that we're related to Mathew Broderick. Since my dad's mom died a long time ago(my dad was 20), and no one to my knowledge keeps in touch with her side of the family, we probably will never know unless we really do our reserach.

On a side note, I know Larry Dierker, he lives a few houses away from my parents. Does that count as anything? Yea, okay, so I know it doesnt. HA

Does it count that I was cast as the son of Teri Garr in Full Moon Over Blue Water. Although I never had a line, only was in the background bowling and you can hardly see me. I was like 4 or 5.

 

You know that hot broad that plays the former stripper on CSI: Las Vegas?

But my old man was an extra in "All the President's Men." In the courtroom scene, near the beginning of the movie, he's the out of focus guy in the blue sweater pretending like he's dozing off in the background.

 

A good friend of mine is the grandson of the founder of Russell Athetic. Also, my dad was in Smokey and the Bandit. He is in the band playing at the fair at the end of the movie (probably a .3 second spot)

 

All of a sudden, the puzzle starts to look a little clearer...

 

I was in a Barenaked Ladies video once. No, not those barenaked ladies. Get your mind out of the gutter.

 

My maternal grandfather swears we are closely related to Benito Juarez a Mexican president . I don't know the exact relation.
