Ok, I should have asked this BEFORE I bought it. But, here it goes. I have been looking for a driver's side glass for my 78 308 GTS for months now with no luck. At the last minute I ran across one on Ebay for very decent price $127. I couldn't turn it down and bought it without thinking. Now its being shipped here. Its for a 80 308 GTSi. Now, I remember someone mentioning something about after 79, Ferrari changed the cable window system to a motorized window lift. My question is this, did it effect the design of the glass itself or is it still interchangeabel? Thanks in advance.

Both your '78 and the '80 have cable operated windows and my guess is that they will probably interchange.

It will definately fit - they even have the same part number. By the way, you say you've been looking for a glass for months - we have these in stock, but not for $127 !

Thanks guys for the input. Ferari UK, I know I could have found them if I wanted to pay full price. I have to say that I had an engine compartment fire that cause me to almost total the car, so I have to find the best deals that I could and $127 was it. Couldn't beat that if I had too, much less pay the shipping from UK, where as the US to a US Territory only costed me $32, insured. Thanks though, I know you carry quality products, but I am on a budget to finish the car without paying the original price tag.
