May not be the best solution, but I put the front plate in the far left corner of grill under bumper. I refuse to drill any holes in the car where it isn't supposed to have them. I attached the plate with two plastic cable ties tightened enough that the plate is perpendicular to the ground. Air can get up behind the plate, and I haven't noticed any cooling problems.

I used to keep plate between the console and the passenger seat, so it could be placed on dash in front of instrument cluster if needed. Columbus police disagreed that that was good enough. That was about $80 of disagreement.

Cable ties will allow removal of plate without a trace, as soon as the car leaves Ohio.

    Good Luck

down here in Texas, i believe no front plate is a non-moving violation, so no harm on insurance.

One can have the front plate, slightly 'roughed up' under your car seat, and if stopped by the cops, offer up that it 'came loose, fell off the car haven't had a chance to get it remounted yet', probably get a warning or such. If you happen to be really obvious, such as stopped at a traffic light, with a cop eyeballing you from nearby, it's more likely you'll get a warning than a ticket, cuz they know you can talk to the judge about the plate having fallen off, and probably get some relief from the judge. Cops know that judges don't wanna waste their time on crappy little tickets like this, so discourage cops from this stuff and try to get them to focus on the money stops(i.e.; speeding tkts).

As mentioned above, no front plate is kind of a cost of doing biz when owning a Ferrari...

Btw, have had an Fcar of some sort since 1987, never been stopped for the front plate problemo
(have been stopped for 'other', but, then, THAT's another story)...:)
