first prize .... goes to the first person who can tell me which way the arrow points on the check valve to the vacuum pipe on a 308. second prize .... goes to the first person who can guess which nobhead took it off, without first making a note. cheers, d
first prize ..... one weeks free accomodation at the Isle of Man TT races. thanks very much 308GTS. d (nobhead)
I don't think anyone would be guessing if they said that it was you that didn't look to see what position it was in before removal, BTW, what is the second prize?
Is this the same part that Kermit has developed a lower threshold valve for? The explanation and theory, (regarding a lower threshold valve admitting more vacuum to the booster) sounds good - any experience out there??? chris
Why in the world would one what to increase vacuum to the booster when the booster seems to be perfectly balanced as it is. Seems to be another Krank Vent device with no Ferrari related data to support the claims. Save your money and wait till Kermit starts selling chrome muffler bearings for $250 a pair. Buy the way I have a pair of the Krank Vents but a got them free and that is what they are worth since they are nothing more then chrome plated PCV valves (one way valves). By the way I have a $10,000 pair of QV heads that make great door stops thanks to Kermit any body need a door stop? Image Unavailable, Please Login
He ported right into the water jackets in many places and then kept the $5000 I sent him. Had to hire an atty in Washington just to get my parts returned (what was left of them). Image Unavailable, Please Login
