WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON WITH THAT BLUE 456!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but that white tester..... would be quite flash in red
Hows this for modified ? started as a 92 512TR, now has Hubbell switches & Hubbell fuse block, NASCAR cage, Motech ignition system, fuel cell, F50 brakes, Kinesis wheels, digital dash, Bob Wallace race trans, NO Friggin Mufflers & tons more goodies She weighs about 2800# with 500 hp +
Never thought there'd come a day where I'd read the acronym "NASCAR" in conjunction with anything inside a Ferrari! Amazing vehicle, nonetheless...
Not sure if its faster, it may be close but of course the silver 512 is a lot safer bcus of its cage & fuel cell & brakes
What kind of work has been done to the engine of the 512 to get 500hp? Is there a thread somewhere on FChat explaining the modifications in more detail? Thanks.
So far only few mods. According to Ferrari the stock engine is rated at 428 hp. So we removed the mufflers, the intake scoops on top of the fenders provide more & cooler air than the stock intake location above the radiators. We also dumped the Ferrari computers in favor of the Motech so now my crew can finely tune the fuel mapping with a laptop, so we dont have to deal with all that emmissions stuff from road cars & we can remap the fuel strictly for max performance I'm having my spare trans rebuilt by Bob Wallace to race spec, When thats done maybe for winter 05 I'll have the engine rebuilt by Ted Wenz in NY & then we may see 600+ hp

jeez kenny, I've always loved your Modena. If I am ever fortunate enough to own one, I want it to be yellow, thanks to your car. Beautiful.
