    Rich:

Congrats on the new ride! I can't wait to see it at our next local "run." I may want to talk to you about all that research you just did. I may spend some money soon myself and your work/analysis would be of interest.

Your 355 wails, so if you tired of it and moved to the Gallardo, it must be an awesome drive.

    Nice.

Silver is DEFINITELY the right color for the G car.

    I agree, silver looks amazing.

  4. I think Orange or Lime Green = Lamborghini but the G car looks perfect in silver/black and deep blood red.

    Richard,

    Here is the plan.
I will keep the Maserati I bought a few months ago til' November of 06 (warrantly expires in Dec). Right after I sell it, I will be ready for a Gallardo or a Modena (I am leaning towards the former). At that point, you can sell me the G car and go 430 shopping. We can meet for a stiff drink to cry over the depreciation, although I also let the first guy take the initial depreciation hit.
I will probably keep the 250, but you do have a point in your first post. I do not drive it as often as I would a more modern machine. And that is why I am keeping both.
BTW, I see lots of tricycles and car seats around that garage. No 2+2s after your gte??? Does the Gallardo have an airbag kill switch? This alone would make my future committment firm to the Lambo.

Luke - you have a deal - I got a pretty good deal so I will only cry a little on the depriciation :)

You are correct - I have a 2.5 year old and a 8 month old - and not a 2+2 any more. Now you will think I am kidding on this one - but I am not - You can kill the airbag on the passenger side AND it has Child Latch System - Two Metal Loops to connect the car seat in the passenger side - and I am not kidding! I did not know this when I bought it - but I told my wife - hey I can take our oldest son out for a spin... She said - "over my dead body".... So it may not happen - but I have the option...

Great news ! My kids, 4 and 2, ride in the back of the Ferrari for shows, Maserati for preschool, and they used to ride in the Boxster pass seat with the airbag deactivated. While I would not put my kid on a motorbike, I think sports cars are as safe, or even safer than other cars. Of course, I know you know that. And it is not always worth picking a fight with the chief family officer...
    :)
