I lived in Switzerland (Geneva) for several years. It's a terrific place to be, but remember this phrase, and you'll be fine: Switzerland is a private country club, and you'll NEVER be a member. Once you recognize that, you'll have fun! BTW, Geneva is kind of a pit, compared to places more westward, Nevertheless, proximity to skiing and GREAT french restaurants is well worth it! I lived on (gag!) Avenue d'Aire. (for those that know Geneva) -Daniel
Interesting. What do you mean by , "Switzerland is a private country club, and you'll NEVER be a member.". I know its so expensive, and they are selective in immigrations. What exactly make Switzerland have the prestige and appeal to many people.
Pros : 1) tranquility 2) beautiful 3) (very) clean 4) money 5) amazing roads 6) a lot of F-cars (the highest concentration in the world of f-cars per square kilometre) 7) ... Cons : 1) TOO MANY SPEED CHECKS ;( For more information : http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/print/sz.html
