Thanks..it's a "cleaner upper' with 42k but a strong car that is definitely a driver and good service history. In the garage for a week now and not one drip on the floor (no fluids??!!) A few chips here and there but I want to drive and not worry. A few years and miles before any major service needed and if I love it I'll strip, repaint and do a major at the same time. I'm very happy but looking forward to some nice spring weather to get the Qtips out. Virginia license "MONDIAL" was available and is now on the car! Chris

Hi Chris, At 6:30 in the AM, with a mug of coffee in hand, I was greeted with this sight! Cheers, Hank Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I love all the 2+2's But. . . . I can't get over the 250 GTE s/n 4289. I have come back 3 times just to look at it. WooooooooooooooooW!!!
Hi hank, How are you? Long time, no chat... How is your car and activities in LA? LA is my second home town, you know. There is a Mondial convertible up for auction sometime in the near future in Bangkok. And everybody ready to get their hands on it. There is only a few of them here... So whoever get it can do 6:30AM driving with coffee in hand like you did... good trick, go slow though.
Hi Patpong, I just posted a hello to you in "Paint My Ride" (Showroom). Reading your recent posts, I am assured that all is OK - yes? My Rachel is in the shop for minor surgery (underbody wise), and new seats and leather work up front. And your Giallo Fly stallion - - is she well? Till we all meet in either L.A. or Bankok - - - - Cheers, Hank (PM me when your coming to rainy Los Angeles)
I sure want to go back. But my business get me real busy. Rainy LA?? no, I always thought LA has the best weather, not in downtown though. As I was in Bakersfield it's either too hot or too cold to golf but LA always nice for golf... You golf???
That's a fantastic color for your 456 Christian ! Understated but Really highlights the sculpting. Very nice!
Wayne, WOW, she is a beauty! Christian (F456 V12), That is THE nicest 456 I have ever seen, no doubt about it. That color and those wheels suit the car to a 'T'
here is "IL Dottore". Perhaps 6 pics is a little overzealous, but she does look georgous in silver.... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks, the color is Canna di Fucile (sp), wheels are OEM F575 BBS 18" wheels, rear is lowered 1.25"" with a 15mm spacer which yields +13mm over stock. The front is std. which yields +7mm over stock and is lowered 1.0." I'm petty happy with the outcome over the stock set up, the car looks a world of difference better. Thank you! Let me tell you, you missed a real gem. It has truly been a pleasure owning it. I have come to understand that it was 1 of only 42 made. Why-o-why would you have not moved on it fast!? As soon as I found it - I bought it over the phone. I had it delivered within the next 9 hours. I damn near flipped out when they pulled it into my driveway. The dealer told me that several blokes were talking to him about it, but I was the only "money man" who stepped up. Its been a really good experience. I cant tell you how happy I am that I got it.
Very nice. Have not seen that color before but really like it. It seems to really bring out the lines of the car. Congratulations. You are correct on the production number. We had the privilege of spending a couple of days at the factory last October. Since we also have an '89 t coupe, and had heard about possibly low numbers, we asked a custoner service rep about production numbers. She responded she didn't know off-hand but didn't think there had been very many. She got back with us the following day and said that a total of 42 U.S. spec '89 t coupes had been produced. I've heard of one that has reportedly been parted out after suffering a non-repairable accident. That accounts for 3. Wonder where the rest are. John
Allen S. (post above) has his '89 coupe. Counting yours, mine, the wrecked one you mention & Allen's - we are up to four. A regular plethora of rare coupes.
