Yes, I am obsessed to a point....

A little dirt spec on the car won't get me into a panic, but God forbid there is even a slight smudge of any kind on my interior leather and I can get very, very out of control.....

I speak to my car only in Italian (which amazingly enough seems to completely understand!) and sometimes I drop by the garage to just say Ciao and for no other reason.

When my car was in for it's recent Major Service, I had to visit the mechanics' a few times to make sure my baby was indeed OK. Once the car was delivered back home safe and sound, I started sleeping better.

Has anyone found a Ferrari-specific support group or therapist? Google isn't returning much info when I do a search. (I would seriously consider going to a shrink if the leather couch is by Schedoni)

    LOL :)

HuskerNtexas, That is ME!!!!! I bought a 2003 360, i had it for about 4 months (I was second owner) When i noticed a little dimple on the rear right quarter panel... Needless to say, my world stopped (I know it is only a car, so keep your opinions/comments to yourself) Dude, i could not stand it!!! I was convinced the car had been in an accident. I was just like a stripper with a new boob job, who asks everyone how they look, i was asking can you see it, does it look bad, is it a repaint? Thats it!!! I SOLD IT...COULD NOT TAKE IT ANY MORE.. Bought a New CS, and as of today (So far) im in good shape. But i dont think im obsessed, do you?

Obsessed? Ya, more than a girl should be. I have 2 obsessions- Vin Diesel and my Ferrari- and if I had to choose, Vin would lose. Sorry Vin, but a girl has to have priorities! I love my Ferrari like a fat kid loves cake.

    Defnitely not obsessed.

Like all of the things I've worked for, I do make an effort to keep the cars in good condition - keep them washed and waxed, and well maintained.

I appreciate them for the objects that they are, but obsessed? no way.

    Appreciative? of course.

Definitely not over-obsessed--that'a why I don't repaint it. Any obsessiveness is about maintaining it well.

Obsessed, it's beyond obsession. I have had a 25 year love affair with my Ferrari. 25 years! Thats longer than I have been with my wife!

    Nope, not obsessed.

I like the car, and I'm glad I have it, but all in all it's just another car.

Fortunately, that mindset lets me enjoy the car more, because I can drive it anywhere, let it get dirty, leave it in the parking lot, and it doesn't bother me.

(treating it like that pisses off some of my friends, though :D)

What I truly enjoy is working on the car, trying to understand the mechanical aspects of the design.
