No offense, Mr. Hank, but why is a guy from California posting to tell us in Chicago how to behave? Would seem to be a local issue to me.

Good question. OTOH FOC vs FCA disputes have a long history in many parts of the country. Not totally sure on this, but I believe the very reason FCA was founded was because some folks on the East coast were no longer happy with the local FOC and started their own club. Or maybe it was the other way round.

As far as I'm concerned as a member of both clubs, I wish we could all just live peacefully together. At the end of the day, I'm a Ferrari owner first and foremost and want to do cool events with my car. Both clubs offer opportunities for that.

No offense taken, but though you posted in Chicago, I read it in California. If it is indeed a local issue, you need a gag order :) Otherwise, you're fair game for commentary - just as we here in CA, are for you. It's all in good fun.

    Cheers, Hank

Hey. I am a Member of the F.O.C.,and Damn right I'm going to Promote it. Certainly No secret about what the FCA did,or does. So, if I've Hit a Nerve by mentioning it...Oh well.....

I've probably sent MORE Members or Potential Members the direction of the FCA,than I've discouraged. But,I'm not here to promote the FCA,I'm here to promote the F.O.C. I've done enough Promoting for the FCA here...

Sure,it would be nice if we could work together,in Harmony. But,when the ONLY posts on FChat that come from that Camp, (Well,Drew, really. Can't blame anyone else, and Mike's a cool guy....) are Negative, and Detrimental, sure makes it diificult.

    Yes,Drew, I agree...we are Done...!

And,perhaps instead of "Lurking" here on Fchat and Throwing Stones at me....maybe you should be asking yourself a few questions:

First. Why did we even feel it neccessary to have the NEED to start the F.O.C. back up and running in the First Place?

What apparent, obvious "Voids" were there that We needed to fill?

What do the New,and Up and Coming people that get a Ferrari WANT to do with Their Car?

    Do you know?

    Do you ask?

    Do you care?

    O.K.Now I'm done....

I had joined the FCA a couple years back and I was not real happy with what they do either. Is it true you get a discount on maint. if you are member?

I am not a member of the FOC yet but I would like to join.
What do I have to do to officially become a member? I assume there is a form of some sort I would need to fill out.

Someone shoot me a reply and let me know what steps I need to take.

    Thanks!

I think the offer still stands, that you get a discount for your major service at the dealership if you're a FCA member. Of course FCA membership offers other benefits as well, mainly the opportunity to participate in their events.

To join FOC, point your browser to:

If you like to support us here, pls select Midwest as the region (you have to select a region regardless).

Hello Vince. If you want to contact me through this venue,(Private Messaging) I can send you one of the New F.O.C. Member Applications, and fill you in what the Club is all about.

Also,if you can, stop by the Karting Event in Buffalo Grove on the 19th. I'll have all sorts of F.O.C. stuff on hand.

    Looking forward to meeting you!
