Alright, just to clear everything up:

- For everyone who was interested, I had hearty miso soup, brown rice with chestnuts, sauteed vegetables, steamed leeks, and homemade pickles from Mana (that's Mana, not Mama Mexico's ) for lunch.

- Oh, by the way, I'm Asian, but since I'm also vegetarian when I feel like it, I don't have pig's brain for lunch.

- Schultz is as Asian a name as it gets. My ancestors fled Germany centuries ago, but since they were individualists, they ran the opposite direction from everyone else.

- Phew. Chris drove a red 355, not a red 360 or a CS. It was only a week or two ago he got the CS, and now that he has both there's no chance we'll be able to tell him apart from all the other asians! It's like he has a disguise now.

- by the way, only one of those statements is true. well, actually, two.

- Sam, get out of my damned laundry. I may have opened up my dry cleaning life to the world, but airing my dirty laundry here is another matter altogether!!!

- Emil, give me back my dry cleaning, and say hi to all the Mexicans out on the pier for me. I may be Asian but that doesn't mean I can't be Mexican, too.

- I won't have a 550 on the rocks until later today. Unless all you guys keep bickering, in which case I'll have to start now.

Yes, you sautee the vegetables first and add a little bit of leftover grain. The sesame oil from the vegetables and the grain make it, well, hearty.
