Holy Frig!!! I picked up a pack of smokes today for a friend and they were SIX bucks! I'm glad I quit. Is six dollars the norm?

The area I live in is considered a suburb of NYC in the winter so I guess I'm 2.00 ahead!

Almost $6 here in MA also, So I drive up to NH and only about $2.50. Was buying on Internet but got scared when MA revenue started tracking this and sending out tax bills. And made sure I put down the amount on my MA state tax form for of out of State purchases

Un-fricking-believable! Cigs were around $1/pack here in Dallas when I quit in 1984; I think they were maybe $1.50 in NYC on a trip there that year.
