FerrariChat GT4 Challenge: Round 1

All corner cutting should be banned. Race clean. Like you would in R/L.

Im busting out the DVP tonight. Prepare for ownage.

 

I agree, there should be no corner cutting or straighlining the chicanes. Two tires in between the lines at all times.

After running nothing but hot laps on Laguna Seca and having put 197.5 miles on the Z06, my new best is 1'32.948.

HOLY MOTHER OF GODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

I got a 1.32.849 after a long session in between trading this morning, but towards the end I began to notice something. Is it me, or does it STOP RECORDING best laps after a long time????!!?!?!!!!



Ok, if I did it once, I can do it again and get a pic.

Wow, I figured out something interesting. I finally re-beat the current best lap and I paused it IMMEDIATELY so my time was still up and flashing. I then took a couple pics with my phone to show that on the screen, at ONE TIME, it shows my 1.32.688 lap time flash in the middle. In the upper right hand side under "best lap" it STILL shows an earlier attempt of 1.33.xxx

Then under the "last lap" section is just is blank with "- - - -- --" crap. Even though I have obviously JUST DONE A LAP! WTF?

So I took pics of all of this and got ticked that you can't have written proof that I was in the Z06, when all of a sudden it struck me. I thought, "wait a minute, how about I just exit out, and save best lap....maybe that will work!"

Sure enough it did!

My dad has a digital camera I could mabey barrow, so I can take a pic of my brother's time and post it.

edit - got down to 1'34.562 ... not bad IMO but pathetic compared to you guys. Damn.

 

Do wheels count as a mod?

 

I wouldn't think wheels matter, same with car wash.

Couple common sense things, No going through the pit exit or the right side strip off the track before the first corner.

Lastly, and I really don't wanna sound like an ass but, a slightly fastest time, that's exactly on the tenth, out of the blue, with no pic or replay, isn't reeking of credibility.

I will be removing the pic of the 1'32.663 and earlier laps in time because they are now obsolete and I want to keep my attachements down as there is a limit non subscribed users can post.

 

After about 2 hours and my power going down twice due to oil consumption I did this.

LOL? A pic proves little to nothing but I'm still going to go out of my way to produce one. I just can't have my friend transfer saves and take pictures for every time I get. On monday I'll send my fastest to him. I can see my brother peering over giving me dirty looks thinking I'm starting **** hehe but I assure you that isn't the case : )

 

Wow, I've got some respect for you guys, the best lap I've been able to turn has been a 1'39.183"

Looks like I need to do some serious reworking of my gear selections or braking zones or something
