Hi Everyone. I just joined Ferrari Chat. I've heard wonderful things about this site, and I just had to check it out for myself. I'm currently spending half of my time in Southern California (Santa Monica and Orange county mostly) and Half in Northern California (San Francisco, south bay, and the east bay). I'm a Ferrari Enthusiast. I particularly like/LOVE the 360 in silver with black interior. I love cars in general. I hope to meet some of you in person. I look forward to visiting Crystal Cove. I saw the pictures from the last meet. Respectfully, Tiffany
Thanks for the warm welcome guys!! I'm sure I'll have fun here. You are only as old as you feel! What kind of runs go on in NorCal I'm usually there on the weekends. Anything like crystal cove?
yah! it's really great to see some familiar faces here! Napolis too! at least it should be easier to go to the event out here.
Yeah, there seem to be more driving events out there compared to here in Jersey. Maybe it's the weather?
Welcome Tiffany!! I'm also on the other site, same name. Wish I were out in Cali right now... it's a bleak, snowy day here in Connecticut.
Hi Tiffany, Take a look at the FCA Pacific Region site.ferraripacific.org.We have many Norcal events every month.Ride n'Drives,Concours,Tech sessions,Bowling,Picnics, etc. There are a few solo drivers that participate and probably wouldn't mind a passenger with enough notice.
Thanks for the heads up. I tried to go on the site listed above, but nothing came up. I'll try again later.
Welcome Tiffany. The full URL for the Ferrari Club of America Pacific Region is: www.ferraripacific.org If you don't get anything, click refresh and you should be OK. Gil
Just keep watching this regional part of FChat. Causal get-togethers and events are regularly announced. This forum can provide a huge amount of information if you're inclined to absorb a lot of Ferrari info, which would come in handy when you get your own car. You might also get data on idiosyncracies about the model you want and be forewarned on what to look for. (I learned several years too late about a couple weaknesses that showed up in my car and cost serious money to fix.) The Technical Q&A can be very educational. I have heard the same about Ferrari Club of America (which I have not had time to join).
Welcome Tiffany! I checked out your website, very impressive. We post informal drives in this section, usually that is how the nor-cal guys do it. Nothing happens on a regular basis like Crystal Cove, and we're slower paced. But we still know how to party! Hope to see you on some of the drives.
I can't wait I'm definately keeping my eyes open! Is Dan around? I'm always down for a party, hehe. Anything going on next friday? I'm going to be in town
Bowling?.........BOWLING!!! NEVER shall a true Ferrari Enthusiast associate themselves with this sort of bohemian activity! My God! Bocci yes, Bowling, NEVER!
Hi Jimmy, To my knowledge, Phillip Chin isn't related to me, but you never know... Aren't all chinese people related in some way? hehe. enzoz2 and MikeDDynamics: Thanks! cal355 and peters: bowling or bocci it's all good.
