Leave the CATS on and buy the "tube only" pipes from Tubi if you want V12 F1 sound. :) I did it to my 456GT

IMO, this is the only way to go for a modern Ferrari V12..., you will not be disapponted, anything less will make the car sound like a slightly louder coupe.

I put TUBI on my 575. The only way to go!!! Trust Me! The problem is, they are NOT cheap these days!!!! The Euro is killing the market! I ordered TUBI for my ENZO on Nov. 16th, They told me it'll take 3 weeks & $5,500. I choked and gagged but pulled the trigger. 4 months later still NO TUBI. They called last week and tried to bump me another $900.00. $6,400 for an exaust for the ENZO???????????? Beleive me the car sounds just fine with out it!!!! I got my money back. So, even though I am pissed off at them they still have THE BEST Sound and the 575 needs it!

Totally agree with Mr. Armen "G" there ;)
Tubi sounds real nice... Heard the Capristos before, then later the Tubi, I say Tubi... First time hearing the Tubi was on Kevin's "TubeGuy" 360 Spyder, awesome!!!

    Good luck!

Either exhaust will DEFINITELY change the attitude of the Maranello.

I had a Tubi on my first car.

Tubis idle nicely but that's about it. Otherwise, they are just plain LOUD! The Maranello is a GT car, meant to travel at high speeds over long distances. When you are just cruising along on the freeway at 80 or 90, after a short while, they'll drone and irritate you to no end. However, they have best aligned themselves with F dealers, hence there are more sold then any other. Does that make them better...?

I took the time, tested and compared others on the second car.

The Cargraphics/Fuchs rumbles at idle (similar in db's to the Tubi but FAR more aggressively) and quiets down rather nicely at cruising speeds. When you want the hair on the back of your neck to stand on end, open the car up and the CG growls and howls like a track car whereas the Tubi just has the same nasally (more muffled) note...only louder.

You should definitely try to hear the CG's before you jump.

No, I know it sounds GREAT, but I knew the car won't be a keeper.

Mine is stock. I drive the 550 too much to have a loud car.

    Only drive 12 cylinders!

    Kev,
Give it one week. If still too loud, call Gary and tell him.

I learned long ago....listen to Darth or face the music, or in your case the loud exhaust noise. I'm not suggesting he knows everything...just implying it. :) Seriously: he's had 3 Maranello's and knows the car inside & out, what more could you ask for?

I don't understand all the hype with Tubi's? I've met too many people who bought them and were unhappy. It must be a marketing thing.

Kevin, I had the Tubi installed at the Auto Gallery on my twin turbo Porsche. I got them to take it off, and refund my money. That was my agreement with them prior to installation. I could not handle the noise inside the cabin. Changed to a techart exhaust, and could not be happier. I made sure I had plenty of seat time in the same car with the same exhaust the second time around. Good luck. If you have any questions regarding exhaust. Speak with 20C4S. His name is Arling. He will be able to help you.
