I just took delivery of my Ferrari (very exciting). I really appreciate everyone's help and advice. Look forward to meeting some of you at the local events.

    Here are the details:
    1999 355 F1 Spider
    titanium/black with silver stitching
    16,000 miles
30,000 major service and new cats from Scottsdale Ferrari (2 months ago)
1 previous owner with all service records from Scottsdale Ferrari
    HRE chrome wheels
    challenge grill
    upgraded Ferrari brand Hi/Fi
    drilled rotor upgrade
    tools, cover, manuals, etc.
    new Pirelli P-zero's
No dash shrinkage, bubbling or bolster wear (how is this possible...wow)
Perfect condition all the way around (not so much as a hairline scratch)
Paid $98,000 (plus $250 shipping to Los Angeles)
I think this was a great price...what are your thoughts?

Listed price was 119 and you paid 98.. Sounds like you did good. Many of the listings on the DPR seem overpriced..

    Nice choice btw.

The car was listed at Scottsdale Ferrari for $119,900. After sitting on the floor for many months, it became stale. As opposed to lowering the price and cheapening the value of the other cars on the floor, they wholesaled the car to Diamondback Automotive Group in Scottsdale (apparently at a heavy discount). Diamondback immediatly ran an EBay auction with a "buy it now" price of $98,900 (they wanted to move it quickly). I negotiated a final purchase price of $98,000. Thats my story! Tim

Love the color combination. With the money you saved, buy a Tubi or Capristo. Hands down the 355 with an aftermarket exhaust is the best sounding F-Car ever. My friend has a 355 with a tubi and the sound is intoxicating.

Do you like the silver floor mats? Would not be my first choice, but not bad.

PS, Glad you got the better of Scottsdale Ferrari...this time, but don't gloat, they probably made $40 to $50K over list the first time they sold it, then another $100K on the guy who likely traded it on a F-430.

Silver floor mats are not my favorite. I will order a black set when I get an opportunity. Tim

    Congratulations!!

    Beautiful car!!!

The wheels are pretty nice as well. I agree, the floor mats would look much better in black.

That thing is frickin' bomb!! I love the wheels and the right rear 3/4 view would make a great enlargement to frame, in the living room of course. Tell your wife Jerrari said it was OK. :)
