The chance of being rejected at the gate is big. I asked the dealer and he arranged a visit for four people! We took some good friends along with us.

Wolfgang - absolutely no offense taken and don't worry you didn't bother me. You folks are so very fortunate to live where you do and be able to enjoy the fine things in life on a regular basis. The time it takes you to get to Maranello is obviously considerably less than our flight times into Bologna or Milan (also way cheaper!). We've been to Maranello before we got "Sophia" ('89 Mondial t Coupe) and spent time up against the fence watching cars on the track (there's that really good spot to watch before you get to Montana). I guess that one can say that you never get tired of going to Maranello. One of the great "selling points" on the type of tour in May (and one we took last October) is definitely the cost - at least in our case. We've been to Il Cavallino for dinner before and our bill was a substantial portion of the total cost of the factory owner's tour with so much included. (definitely worth it!)

We look forward to our upcoming F1 Test tour, coming back less than a week later for our "free" tour and the GP (also another jaunt to San Marino and the Maranello Rosso Museum) and most of all being back in Europe again!

We spent Christmas in your country - we went to Munich for a few days - what else can I say but for us it was "heaven on earth" again - it had been many years since we were there. Unfortunately, our dog children, 45 mini horses and 5 pet cows and a few other things keep us tied to the US so we savor the time we are able spend in your part of the world!

    Regards,
    Carol
