I don't know if you've answered this is another thread or not, but why did you sell the F40 and F50? Were they cars you just wanted to have to say you've been there and done that? Or maybe they just weren't what you'd expect? Or maybe something far more sinister...
can we see some reposts of Armen and Roland's garages since the pics disappeared after the fchat crash?
I have a small company that manufactures and installs garage floor tiles, seen some spectacular car collections most of which we cant take pics off for security reasons, this guy was so proud of his collection he let me take some shots but not allowed to say where it is. If you cant see the picture have a look at the following link http://www.versatileflooring.co.uk/ecotile/garage/ecotile_garage_gallery.html P.S. Not sure if I am meant to do this but can offer a 20% discount of list to all Ferrarichat.com members just mention where you found us
Here is what I got so far, I'm going to build a pool house in the back with another 3 car garage, if my neighborhood association will approve it.. SW http://www.fototime.com/1AC18A65762D9BB/orig.jpg http://www.fototime.com/2E3581B44F201EF/orig.jpg Image Unavailable, Please Login
My new place (currently under construction) will have 8 garage bays. I currently have 4 cars, a truck, a tractor, and a gator/lawnmower that can share a spot so I have one slot left. Time to start shopping By the way, what is the deal with lifts for double stacking? Can they be added to a standard garage or does it require in-floor hydraulics or an extra high ceiling (four of my bays will have 12 ft ceilings, the others will be standard height). Somebody please provide me a source for those lifts. Thanks!
My ceiling is 10 ft 11 in tall. This is about the least height you will need to park one under another. If you want to work on the bottom of a car, you will need atleast 12-13ft ceiling. My "other" garage/poolhouse will have 12ft ceiling so I can work on my cars. When I finish my '69 Camaro, hopefully in the next month, I am going to get another lift and put it in the garage bay that the my C5 is in. Fortunately, I do have another shop where I keep my F350, trailers and work on my projects, that's why I want to build another garage at the house.. My abode has been humbled even more. Not only is your car port very nice, it's just TOO nice. Way to go!
Are the lifts attached to the floor in any way or are they freestanding? Also, is there a local (Austin) installer/source you would recommend?
