What is the actual bore diameter of the weber carbs? what flow meters (and where did you get them) are you guys using to tune the carbs?

I am looking at the following flowmeter but am not sure if I will need the adapter. I do believe that the 40 mm measurement is the incerted venturi and not the bore of the carb housing.

    Please advise

    thanks,

SK for sure. Mine fits without an adapter.
If you want to make it easier get 2.

Nope, other way round. "40" in "40 DCNF" is the size of the bore above the throttle plate. The venturi is an insert (e.g., 34mm) that fits inside the bore above the plate.

If you have problems getting the SK, Pierce Manifolds usually has them (and Mike Pierce is a great source of info).
