I'm watching this on CNN. My guess is that this will be bad. If a tsunami does happen, there will be an insane amount of video coverage.

What the hell is going on? This has been a very strange/bad year weather wise.

Tsunami is a buzzword now. Any quake in a body of water will generate this word, even if it doesn't generate a tsunami. I wonder if this will respark the compassion for the victims of the last tsunami? Or are we tired of that one still. It's nice how the media coverage has dropped to almost zero since the "funny" stories about sending them snow suits and dress shoes came out. I heard it will take 10 years for them to recover. 9 years and 8 1/2 months to go.

I went to bed last night at about 0200.
Felt a bit of movement but thought it was too much Bacardi, turned over, went to sleep.
Missed my wife calling from UK at 0400 as I left the phone in the other room.
The messages start with worry and concern but later degenerate into "Where the bloody hell are you at 4 o'clock in the morning!"
    Ah life...
