Yesterday we visited the Danish "Ole Sommer Museum". There was a Bugatti theme day with a lot of pictures, stories and talk :)
It was a great day and we met a lot of very nice people there.

We took some pics there... not a lot, but some :) There was not that much time to look at the cars, it was most of all a lecture about Bugatti and Ettore Bugatti himself. :)

When we started from home there was very foggy weather ... so you could not see the top of the "storebælts bro" :) But by the time we arrived... there was sunny and much better.
The car you see outside the museum is a Danish built car called OScar :)

and now to our friend, Henrik Schou-Nielsen's, beautifull 1931 Bugatti T51.
(180-200Hp of raw power to 750Kg racing car!!! )
Henrik arrived in the car in brilliant sunshine... and the sound it produces is undescripeable!!! It's really a MUST hear! :):)

In some of the pics you see Carsten helping Henrik carrying original parts for use in the lecture. Here is Carsten with THE very first blower for use in a Bugatti ever! :)

Yes the GTO is a fake :) But very beautifull made on a 330 :) And for sale at Daytona http://www.daytona-cars.dk/forsale/index1c.htm

The T38 is a well known Bugatti but rebodied later with this stunningly looking bodywork. The car is in need of restauration but Henrik has not yet had the time for doing so. :) The car was recently bought from the famous Söderström Collection in Sweden.
