Those things are sick. Rob F. had a segment in his DVD with him and Dan racing them through traffic on the West side hwy. Very cool footage complete with them being chased by a cop on horseback. THey would have outran the horse, but traffic was being blocked by some guy in a viper.

Since when do you miss a run for school work? I thought you had all of your professors in your pocket. Common man, I expect more from KH! Just kidding with you bro...good luck on your finals and I'll see you soon.
can anyone tell me exactly where the meeting spot is, would consider driving up if not too far, if its ok with everyone here.
John, From us here in South Jersey it's quite a hike. From O.C. you're looking at roughly 3 hours. I used to make the trips from Longport for runs in North Jersey fairly often. Lots of fun but it's a pretty good distance.
John, Looks like the meeting spots is up on the Palisades Pkwy just over the NYS boarder. It is a pretty good drive for you from OC, but feel free to join us if you're up for it. Run is still a little ways out though, so plenty of time to consider it...
Most likely yes, Then again, I'm a diehard when it comes to my cars. They're built to run. If you want to caravan, let me know.
Eric - Thanks for the infomration. I'll keep an eye on this thread for more information about a meeting point for those of us "upstate" as the date gets closer.
Im not sure if i can make it, but im from those parts. Would a funny looking English made Honda be welcome? Its ok if not. Before you answer, yes there is a Honda made in England. Its the new SI. they look like doorstoppers. The non-US version the Type-R is actually a decent car, but we will never see it. Christopher
I've been working on this run with a guy from Rennlist and here is an update that he just sent out to the folks that have shown interest. As you can see, it should be a great group of enthusiasts which will result in an awesome run. I hope you guys can make it... -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hey Everyone, I hope you have been enjoying the great weather. Anyhow, this is just a reminder for the May 1, 2005 Fun Run. As you know, we will be meeting by exit 5 on the Palisades Pkwy at the gas station in the median at approx. 9:30 a.m. If you want to arrive a little earlier, I'm sure that will be just fine. We will depart at approx. 10:15 a.m., which will be plenty of time for "meet and greet". We'll head North, and end up in New Paltz at the Mountain Brauhaus. I've arranged with them a set menu for Brats/Burgers etc. If you want something else there, it will not be an issue.. I'll get you all a route by email prior to the event, I'm still kinda working on it. I will also have copies available when we all meet up. I have also been advised that one of the participants will be filming during the event, so make sure your cars look great! Not too sure on the details of that, but nonetheless, shine up the cars! Let's hope the weather is like the past several days. I'll keep you all posted. Right now, we have about 40 cars confirmed (possibly more), so it should be pretty fun. We have just about every type of Porsche attending, and will also have a few exotics and collectibles there. Regards, Jon
Damn! This sounds like a bangin' event! I hope I can make it up -- and find a ride. Mountain House is killer this time of year!!!!!!!!!
Count me in. Depending on whether my sons go, I will have the Mondial or the BMW 325. Is this rain or shine?
