    Guys

advice please. I'm thinking of getting some Speedlines for my 348TS. I'm actually not that keen on changing the stock wheels as I think they suit the angular lines of the car, however, rather than change the wheels to a newer set- ie 355/360, I at least want to remain 'in the same period', and thus see the speedlines as the most appropriate set.

My question is: Will the speedlines which fit the 348GTC fit a standard 1991 TS? and secondly, speedlines which are often advertised for TR's fit the 348 as well? I've just started on this long journey of looking to change my stock wheels, I'm in no rush, but do like the original look of the speedlines

    many thanks
    Julian

    Julian,

The GTC Speedlines will fit without any problems, the problem is that they are only available from Ferrari UK parts and very rare.

The standard 512 tr wheels are also no problem to fit, just add a 20mm spacer on the rear, Paul Hill (Hill Eng) has just put these wheels on his 348 and very nice they look too. The only problem with 512 tr wheels is again availability, very rare secondhand and very expensive new from Ferrari parts.

    Regards,
    Phil.

GTC Speedlines are also shown at allferrariparts.com and yes, they are expensive, especially the rears.

    Cheers

Thanks chaps. Either way, it looks like I'll be spending £4K plus for a set with tyres which seems rather an expensive addition to the car!

I wish I knew - that pic is a GTC that was for sale from where I picked up my tb (Italia Autosport). I'd sure like to try a set though..
