VW in a Ferrari Dealership

Those HPA motors are killer... 550hp I think (I didn't have much time to check the listing)

Wonder what it feels like to drive that thing? Never thought I'd see a Beetle with 500 horses.

 

I've always had a theory about that car. And with the engine upgrades and braking upgrades, I'll bet it could be proven.

My theory is that if you hit 80 mph in that car, slam on the brakes you will do a foward somersault. I swear!!

 

Saw it today... sweet car. FCI actually had something like a 700hp version of a Beetle several months ago. It had tons of body panels and goofy looking bumpers.... but beneath the bonnet, oooo la la. It had more pipes and hoses stuck into it than a Las Vegas hooker, but it was spectacular.

 

But in the end, its still a VW Bug.

Yeah, how can a Ferrari dealership sell an $80k V-Dub, when they'll have many $80k Ferraris surrounding it?

 

I'd be surprised if they could get much over 40K for that car.

it may be cool...but you won't ever find me drivin it.

 

Not sure about that.....be about the same as beating a Ferrari with rice burn'n Honda/Mitsu/Suburu
