They were luverly. The Lancia was very sweet, and the Mex was a monster. It was the cover car in Classic Ford a while ago (just before I owned it).

My XR2 was featured in Performance Ford in 1991 and on the front cover in 1992. Upped the power from 95bhp to 160bhp shortly after the article and it used to eat 911s for breakfast.

Loved the looks of the Elise but hated everything else about it with a passion.

    Painted both the bikes myself

    Thanks mate :)

Yes same bike, a GSXR600. The design came to me in a dream before I'd even bought the bike. Some people dream about women, I dream about paint. No wonder I'm single :(

Just make sure there's nobody around with a camera. That was my downfall :( The sad part is that the picture was taken on my own camera and I posted it myself. I was hoping people would have forgotten about them by now

I think everybody is just jealous that they don't own such a magnificent pair (of trousers) :D

Bought it last year as a insurance write off cat c. Paid about 4k for it and sourced parts mainly from Ebay. Most of the work was done at home by myself and a mate whos a mechanic - the bodywork was done by another mate. What was awesome was how he managed to reshape the bonnet rather than replace it(a new one is £600 ish and cant get 2nd hand for love or money).

The finished item was gorgeous (tony has some pics of it done which i hope he can re-size). Sold the car in december - didnt make a great deal but the adventure was excellent.
