aaaaahahahaha. Did you notice the guys liscence plate? "2 Fear" What a moron... just another example of someone that shouldn't be allowed to drive a Ferrari. You think he forgot to turn his ASR off??? hehehe
Dude, thats very harsh. Have you never had an accident or even had someone hit you? Yeah, not a very good driver for sure, but still you have to be able to feel for him. Its a horrible feeling to pile a nice car and I don't think anyone should "deserve" that kind of pain, unless they were being reckless and endangering others. Just my opinion.
riverflyer, maybe i got the wrong message when i watched this. It looked to me like it was a Burn out contest...Not a regular run down a quarter mile dragstrip, if that is the case, i feel he got his just reward!!! If it was something different then I apologize. What did it look like to you guyz?
Jeez, what happened there? Did the throttle get stuck or something? Why would he not let off the gas when he started getting sideways and heading for the grass?
i would think u need to counter steer in that situation. off gas and brake u will end up like he did.
He was countersteering, just not enough. He should have taken his foot off the gas too. It actually looks like his foot was in it for a fraction after he hit the wall.
Well, as least he did this in a designated place, not somewhere where he could hurt some one else....That's just me saying the glass is half full....
If he couldn't save the slide it with opposite lock he should have just cranked the wheel with the slide and got on the brakes and just looped it there on the asphalt. Let the car rotate on its front tires. Once you get off in the grass forget it.
I felt sorry for the guy, even Schumacher crashes sometimes. But what did really made me laugh was that the truck that took his car away was from "Chips Away". One of those paint-less damage repair places. Do you reckon they managed to get if fixed without paint
Looked like an inexperienced driver to me. Why you would put a ferrari in a burn out contest anyway? I guarantee you, most of the folks in the stands were laughing.
I just assumed it was a 1/4 mile run and the prior car had a big engine and could not hook up. Either way, they guy was a poor driver and the incident was sad and gut wrenching. To each his own, no problem either way, but I still feel sorry for the guy.
