    Can somebody please tell me what would be the normal tyre size fitted on a standard 7J? Daytona wheel - 215/70VR15 or 225/70VR15 ? And also what size would be fitted on the optional wider 9J? rears ?

    IIRC it's 215/70VR-15 on 7.5 x 15in. wheel. I'm not sure on the 9in. wheel.

    Thanks for the replies, Guys - and also to Terry Springer for the information about the 55 series Yokohama's fitted to his Daytona that he PM'd me. The question of course wasn't neccessarily just applicable to Daytonas - I was asking on behalf of an acquaintance who is flying to France to see this Noble P4 replica powered by a Dino V-6 tomorrow, with a view to purchasing - it's fitted with Daytona wheels - and he's already made his mind up that he wants to put slightly wider lower profile tyres on it ....

    Yes, once the ride-height is sorted (tyre profiles and suspension settings), and a few other things, it should be a nice little car. The person who modified the Noble rear bodywork into the spyder basket-handle tail, and did the other body mods - a local man, name of 'M.Baulan' (you can just read his name, and phone number on the bottom edge of the radiator opening) obviously put a lot of work into it, but like you say - didn't get it quite right. In my opinion, the only person who ever did get close was Jim Carpenter (then in Phoenix), who moulded a few new tail sections. See photos below.
    Oh Yes - and something else that needs to be changed urgently on the French Dino V-6 Noble P4 is those awful 'frenched' tail-lights ! N'est-ce pas ?

    Just checked the URL link, and found that www.carclassic.com have already taken the advert for this car down from their website. Vincent (Lasser) must be counting on a sale, tomorrow ! ;)

    Not forgetting of course, the original topic of this thread, the Daytona wheels as fitted to this car (with the correct 225/70VR15 Michelin XWX's on the rears, as Tom Shaughnessy kindly confirmed).
    Oh, Yes - and the 'frenched' tail lights. Yeuch !
