Anyone know more history of this car? I was browsing around www.barchetta.cc and they didn't have much more than the pic. It did sell for $225k in 1990, but that may have just been a sign of those times and not any significant history of the car.

    ???

Hmm, speechless.... Never seen this one before, so damn ugly, what the hell was going on here? Would be interesting though to learn something more about it. Pfff, this is wrong.

Could April 1 have something to do with this?

Wayne just PM'd me that he saw the car at show in 2002, he is going to find his records and post what he has. Maybe not for a few days though (past April 1st).

Doesn't the front end look a little weird? Almost like a kitcar. And those wire wheels just look like hubcaps. Are we sure this isn't some weird kit car

Sheesh, I'd feel bad for the Fiero that got sacrificed for this. Let alone a real 308.

I like some creative approaches as seen by the Sultan of Brunei, but this one has me stupified.

Maybe somebody needed more trunk space...the trunk on a regular 308 is rather small...LOL

Would the car be faster than a stock 308? More aerodynamic (that's why they did the 250) and how about more engine cooling space?

I'm stumped on this one. Need the experts in here.

Note that it has adequate room for proper intake clearance for the carbs...

If you believe that there is a need for more room than production above the air horns and that adjusting their length is bad! LOL

    -------------------------------------------------------------

Certainly an April Fool's Joke as you can see through the rear window of the GTB from which it was photoshopped.

There are no parting lines for a hood to open or for a removable body section for access. I vote photoshop.
