Was out before Christmas on one of those nice crisp mornings and followed a Police V70 off a roundabout and on to a dual carriageway. He was really dawdling along entering the carriageway and since there was nothing else around thought sod it and booted it past him and I mean booted it past in 2nd up to around 80mph and tucked into the nearside with them following I knew that accelerating is not a crime but was interested to see the reaction but they just held station I was in all honesty I was half expecting to get the blues

Got pulled over entering the ring of steel in London in me countach, as I gave it the large away from the lights. copper: "yes sir, it's a nice car, but no need to drive it like a wanker" I felt about 3 inch's high. . . . .

You probably made their day. Must have dawdled to let you past so they could admire your car. I find people do slow up to let you go by sometimes - unless their shuttlebus or tnt drivers.
agree, not a job I'd like to do and most of them do it very well. had my f-car six years and (touch huge piece of wood) never had a problem and I've not always been under 70 mph!
