Is an amazing movie. Tons of guns. Tons of Jessica Alba. Tons of Bruce Willis shooting people (I mean, that alone should make you go see it). Tons of guys and guns and trenchcoats and girls with nothing on (also with guns). Dear god, why cant more movies be like this.
I'm anxious to see it. Also, a locall Ferrari owner (330 and 355) has an old Jag featured in it, which apparently was about to be stolen in the movie itself.
I'm really looking forward to seeing this. I haven't been this psyched, psyched, psyched about a movie since Crouching Tiger, before that, Pulp Fiction...
If a comic book could appear in fluid motion, this is EXACTLY what it would look like. This is Pulp Fiction on crack driving 180mph on fire while injecting steroids into its ass with a pack of ninjas riding T-rex's chasing it.
Just came back from seeing it. It was excellent. You can tell where Quentin was directing w/ all the blood. You also forgot to mention the tons of hits in the nuts.
Yes, wee-wee's are prime targets for gun shots, fists and knives in this movie. But we soon forget the agonizing torment that would be a knife to the nuts, because shortly after there is always a pair of boobs or a nice ass to behold. And then something explodes....and so on. So good.
Serious question. In your professional opinion, is it possible to literally rip it off the human body w/ your bare hands? All parts of it included.
Don't know. Maybe its possible but I've never read a report of that. Those parts are stuck on pretty well.
Going to see it tomorrow. My cheap ass allows for 2 movies a year. So this will be the first of 2005, and I will watch another one by September.
just saw it and thought it was unique and enjoyable but how about the way 348 had so much screen time, even if it had ugly wing on back. makes this strong contender for movie of year as far as im concerned
Weird. I just read the above sentance and it hit me that the way I post in no way reflects the way I talk. People are going to think I'm a damn englishman.
Sir, you really have no need to worry that you may be mistaken for an Englishman, those of us who are, recognise our bretheren instantly! It is also impossible for Americans to impersonate Englishmen, as evidenced in the classic Disney film Mary Poppins! Dick Van Dyke sounded as convincing as Leonid Breznev would have! As a footnote, are you aware that Mr Van Dyke changed his name on the advice of his agent? His real name was Penis Van Lesbian.
The movie was great. Only complaint I had was that I wish they used time labels when switching "time". Those who have seen it know what i'm talking about.

Can't wait to tell my wife about this one. I'm sure she won't be able to get dressed and to the theater fast enough!! I just checked this out on rottentomatoes.com, and see that Mickey Rourke has a part. I just watched "Angel Heart" again for the first time in maybe ten years. One of the spookiest movies ever made, with a great performance by Rourke, as well as De Niro as The Devil, alias Mr. Louis Cyphere. Sin City is a definite must-see now, wife or no wife.
Yeah you're right. It doesn't make that big a difference though, I actually liked seeing how it blended together in the end.
Director: Robert Rodriguez, Frank Miller Co-Director: Quentin Tarantino Perfect! Simply Perfect! I had been waiting for a movie like this to come out for a long long time.
