    some **** has stolen my ebay account at 3 15 pm today and changed the user name now my stuff is for sale under his name lpjhon1905 contacted ebay but no reply back yet i should be okey with the paypal account as its a different password anybody had this done as there is no phone number for ebay sent them numerios emails but no reply back yet

    I think this happened to Reggie when he completed one of those account verification fraudulent emails purporting to be from Ebay

    Have you had any such mails?

    no dont respond to them he has not listed any other stuff but if you do a search for dealerfitz it says i changed to [ lpjhon1905 ] today

    That happened to me SteveF, sent loads of e-mails and didnt get anything back for a few hours, then i got an e-mail back saying they were freezing everything and i couldnt use my account until they had investigated.

    Bloody annoying that there are no phone numbers at all and especially when someone is hacking !

    They will get round to you when they are good and ready - crap though, hope you get it sorted !!!

    I almost fell for that, until i read that they wanted my ATM number, then i saw that there was not a little padlock on the bottom of the screen. Then i taged on.

    Steve, if I were you I'd open the listing, click to view the bidders and send the highest bidder a message telling them what has happened. They may be prepared to deal outside of ebay or even wait until you have a new account and can relist.

    The other option you have if ebay don't reply to you is to start a new account and bid on these items and make sure that you win them. Then when the bogus seller contacts you make out that you want to send a cheque and BINGO............ you should get there address and contact details.........

    This could be interesting !!!

    Ebay customer service is the biggest load of sh:t goin!!
    Someone has nicked the photo's off one of my listings & is using it for 2 seperate scams from China.
    Ebay sent me a email saying thankyou, but havnt even stopped his auctions.
    They are totaly useless!
