    i'll tell u why i assume it his father's (or somebody else's) car.
    if it were his own, he would have to be very smart and industrious to have made the coin to pay for it, which would preclude behaving this stupid - i would think.

    the only way he bought this himself is if he just won the lottery, and i guess they're right about what they say about a fool and his money...
