I'm not kidding here. I just came back from the the track where I saw a GS going at it with a 1997 Ferrari F1 car, a 360 GT, and a 333 PS. Trust me when I say this, with the right driver, the Maser held its own in the twisties. Dale
Tyler: Wow...the car looks amazing!!! I didn't realize grigio alfieri was an option on the GranSport. Was it special ordered? I love the interior too...great taste!!! I also see that you have a 2000 BMW M5. I have a 2002 M5. I am also looking to replace it in the near future. I was thinking about the GranSport. How do the 2 cars compare (if at all)? Tom

Just sat in a Silver one today. Seriously thinking about buying one. What's the market on these? The salesman said they would take a little off but I really didn't press as I am not ready to jump yet. Did you guys pay MSRP or did they discount? Man what a beautiful car! Thanks!
you should be able to get gransport for a bit under msrp if you shop around. Maseratis are fantastic car but the depreciation is brutal. Since depreciation is the only real shortcomming it is double important to get one that is a good deal. I wish I waited on the Maser to get the Grandsport the little differences real count over the standard Maser. ///MK
Very nice pics -- congrats to all of you on the GS! Almost purchased one at the dealer last week. That particular car was finished in the pearl white exterior with light blue sport seat interior with nearly every option. I personally liked the color combo. and sport seats, but my wife wasn't that enthused... Ended up purchasing an '05 Cambiocorsa Coupe in a more "traditional" color combo. of Blue Netuno exterior with Beige & Blue inserts/piping. The dealer did say that they were slightly discounting all Maseratis for repeat customers, so that was a nice incentive to our purchase. We've been having a wonderful time driving, enjoying, and getting to know the new Maserati thus far...they are wonderful machines...and one of the best sports car purchases we've made thus far! Oh, and the kids love riding in it too!
For what it's worth several dealers will discount the Skyhook on Coupe/Spyder. Less likely on the GranSport as they seem to sell themselves better so list is typically the price.
What are the diffrences between a regular Coupe and the GS. is it only cosmetic and the fact that the GS is limited to 90 cars.
