I was wondering if any F-chatters would be gracious enough to give me a ride around sydney in their Ferrari. It will be my first time there and what better way to see it than in a Ferrari and with somebody who knows the area. I'm going to be staying in Penrith at the Panthers casino, I understand this is a little outside of Sydney, is that correct? Let me know if there are any takers....i'll pay for the gas, food, drinks.....whatever!! I'll be arriving on the 3rd or 4th of April and I'm only staying for a couple nights. PLEASE let me know if there are any takers. Thanks-Don

Penrith Casino?! Its a leagues (football) club with a few poker machines and a dodgy nightclub.

You wont be seeing many Ferrari's in Penrith thats for sure.

Its about a 45 min drive west of the Sydney CBD in light traffic.

    Penrith main attractions:

    Krispy Kreme
    Panthers leagues club

Thanks for the info, it's where my company is putting me up so I can't complain too much. I'm trying to get them to put me up downtown near "George Street". I've heard this is a good place to go. I'm stoked about even being able to go!!!

for reference, i think penrith is like 35 miles out of town, and sydney's not known for it's ease of navigating. i had my first day out in sydney just a couple weeks ago to check out a ferrari, luckily my rental commode-door had satnav or i'd have been stuffed. :)

Would highly recommend that you don't stay in Penrith, it really is in the middel of nowhere from the point of view of a tourist. Unless you intend on spending your time in the Blue Mountains. Would be at least $100 cab ride to Sydney.

Thank you everyone for the advice. I decided not to stay at Panthers so I stayed at The Sebel resort and spa in Windsor (Great place) for a couple nights and then at the Four Seasons in Sydney. I had a great time in Sydney, beautiful town. I found a good pub near the hotel called "Jacksons on George". I'll definitely be going back to Sydney. I didn't see any Ferraris but I did see a new Maserati and a Bentley Continental GT downtown. Cheers!
