Who mostly notices your ferrari?

Interestingly enough, 50 year old women notice my Europa a lot. They all remember seeing them when they "were growing up in CA". But younger women just wrinkle their noses. Teenage boys are the second biggest fans.

I find that there is no group in particular, pretty much anyone who is interested notices.

 

The SUV/BLING BLING/POSER crowd. Especially, all of the SUV's that will never ever see a speck of dirt on any of it's tires.

 

Teenage boys are the ones who notice my car. Everyone else just doesn't care.

 

It's a wonder priests don't drive them.

Sport motorcycles (race replicas).

 

Guys who have motorcycles that sound like lawnmowers.

 

Find me a lawnmower that sounds remotely like a proper sports bike... and I'll buy it off you.

 

For me I'd say mostly everyone - except hot sexy females. Sure, there has been the occasional female look, but that is the look of 'I want your money' and not 'I like your car'. One time I was behind a BMW at at stoplight, could see a nice looking woman doing up her hair via the rearview mirror. Then once she was done fussing with her hair and readjusted her mirror she saw me in my red 360 behind her. I actually SAW HER take off her wedding ring and hold her arm out the window. I don't need that kind of attention, thank you.

Other (younger) girls seem to have no clue what a Ferrari is. The seem to be more interested in the guy in the UPS truck. To them a hot car is a Mustang or Corvette.

Cops and other guys are big lookers too (and I don't need that kind of attention either).

Other than that I'd say its pretty even across the board.

teenage boys notice my car, teenage girls, so so, mature chicks, some not really though, older guys definately. most of the time though you get thumbs up although there are some j- offs that give you attitude. perfect example i was out with my car last friday night and some guy in his early 20's pulled up to me at a light and asked if it was a fiero kit car, i told him it was the real deal, his reply was fsssst and wanted to race me for pink slips, he was driving a piece of crap [beat up ] acura with one of those stupid oversized mufflers, this all took place in a 25 mph residential area, when the light turned green he raced away, what a penis !!! so i guess a little of everyone notices a ferrari, some cool some jealous a holes..

 

nownow FerrariDiva, I find that hard to believe! there is a difference between noticing and staring! Many people are shy and check the car/driver out but only when he/she is not looking. For example, how many times have you seen people check out the car by itself (i.e. parked) but would be too shy to approach and ask questions when the driver is around?

 

I never fails anytime the wife and I are out in the car, a car load of teenages boys will pull up next to us and start revving there engines, (more times than not they are in a Mustang)


The other night coming back from wal-mart (yes it goes to wal-mart, at least once a week) three different cars came along side and started
revving !! It gets embarassing/annoying. I usaually just smile and wave, what do you guys do ?

It still amazes me though at the number of people who roll down their windows at stop lights and ask/comment on the car, most are 30-40 year old guys. Especially while pumping gas someone will almost always say something, and this is with a 20yr old 308 !!

 

I rarely EVER have women notice my car. More often then not it's some boy-racer type in a painted-up Honda. I get way too much attention from them at stoplights.

 

I notice the car... If no one is around I'll stare at the car, and imagine myself inside. I usually don't look at the person inside the car, the windows are usually so tinted, it makes it impossible to see. I try not to get caught drooling over a car.

 

In regards to the "ricers" etc some are just wankers but alot are massive car fans and would swap their left nut for a ferrari if given half the chance. Alot have put a ton of time effort and money into their cars and are very knowledgeable about cars in general. I think most of the enthusiasts though are scared off thinking the owner will just think they are a dumb kid trying to start trouble so its mainly the wankers that say stuff.

In regards to the revving/racing i think alot of the time its like a puppy barking at the alpha dog the are trying to have some fun and show respect without looking like a pansy
