Dear all friends of mine, I am in an internet cafe' here in Alabang, south of Manila. I just had to go out from the all-american hotel I am in and mix with locals. Funny, interesting but... I miss home! And my home is in Europe. Up to some years ago I think I would have said that my home is the world... now I am not so sure any more. Am I growing provincial? Hope to see you all soon. Ciao Eugenio BTW... Final decision taken: I will keep it. As Mark said, it is just so much more than a piece of metal...
Sounds like you are having second thoughts about staying in Manilla. Whatever you decide Eugenio, I'm sure it will be for the right reasons for you and your family (and not your 328 ). Stay in touch, we'll see you when you get back hopefully. I think we should organise a quick Ferrari weekend trip to Milan...anyone want to come with me?
Good choice Eugenio - keep it!!! Just make sure that you really use it whenever you come to Italy. Even if you only use it 3 times a year that will be enough as long as you give it a long, fast drive. Just make sure you come to Italy whenever we organize our Tuscany/Liguria FCHAT events!! Hope to see you soon, Andrea
Ciao Simon. You are right and wrong at the same time. I allways had some erplexities about moving here... The fact is that it is difficult to say NO to the company. Add to that that there are pros and contras and you have a good pictutere of the situation. Let us see what is going to happen. For sure when back in Italy I want to have a litte tous around swiss alps. Ciao a tutti Eugenio
YEAH BABY!!!! Great news... "Growing provincial"? No - just NORMAL resistance to change. None of us relish moving out of our comfort zones, but once you've moved, you will adapt pretty quickly. That's one of the reasons man is the most successful animal on the planet...we can adapt. You'll be just fine once you get a Phillippino girlfriend! MARK
