Ok, Ok, Ok. Time to start thinking about the caravans going out to ROE. Who's going from NJ? Perhaps meet up at Utkarsh's & meet with the NYC gang at Noah's or Viks?
Anyone want to meet in Tarrytown right next to the Tappan Zee bridge and head down to meet up with everyone else?
are porsches invited to this event? would love to whip out the 996 for this.. seems like a f-car and viper gathering...
About 40, but I think we will top last year. Lots of people said they will be there, but have not yet paid...like you
it's an ENTIRELY different process and requires TOO MUCH WORK. lol fun place sounds good ROE is gonna ROX!
How do you know that it is entirely different? To come to that conclusion you would have had to make some sort of comparison. (Sam, sorry for continuing the hijack) OK... back on topic: Are there any meeting places set up for the "run out"? ARe we going to do the park n ride at exit 63 like last year? I have to at least drive back west a little bit or my car won't even warm up if I go straight to the winery.

Sam and ROEIII Crew Now that we are within the 7 day horizon I can start to monitor the run weather with some gusto. Be wary of the weather channel products... .their daily icons come straight out of one of the many weather computer models running (they use one of the poorest at that!) and are untouched by human hands..so their forecast of 6 straight days of rain of some sort from late next week into the following week is a cop out. HOWEVER, there is bad news...the European and US models now agree that there will likely develop a faily major spring noreaster (cold rain on the coastal plain, even snow in higher evelations of southern NE not out of the question) in the April 22-24 time frame. Way too early for probabilites and timing details and these things can always track out to sea, like the syste the past few days that wreaked havoc on shipping off the east coast.w. Recall that ROE1 "threaded the needle" between bad days before and after and we can hope for this again. Will update daily from here on out on this thread.
Probably be up for a reschudule but I know some of the Viper guys might not be able to make the LATER rain date.
