Been having to top off my brake fluid more than once so I decided to investigate. I found a ton of fluid inside the booster and that booster no longer holds a vacuum. So,

    1. Does anyone know if they sell the master cylinder rebuild kit? where?
    2. Does anyone know where I can get my brake booster rebuilt? Or get a rebuild kit?

Note the rust on the booster, and the missing O ring around the cylinder.

    Thanks

You can send booster and/or MC to either Stainless Steel Brake Company or to White Post. I have heard good things about the former. They can sleeve your MC. If you get stuck, I have a booster.

I believe SSBC is no longer rebuilding masters. If you have one that they did and it is under warranty, they will redo it.

The unfortunate part is that SSBC is the only company I know of that used SS sleeves.

White Post uses brass like most others.

If anyone knows of someone using SS sleeves, please post.

Ask Randy. He also told me the brass inserts have been known to wear down in less than a year. If you are really stuck, I could talk to a machinist about it. PM me if interested.

I don't have a problem, but wanted info for the future.

Also, I think my mechanic would like to know of any rebuilders using stainless.

I believe he got one of the last rebuilds done by SSBC. It was for a 275GTB last fall.

Did it come with a new sleeve, and was it stainless steel?
