What happens when you hit a Bald Eagle

Good looking out for our national bird. Do keep us posted on the eagle's health.

 

Cool story. If the bird can't be returned to the wild I hope it has a productive time reproducing in a zoo.

I had never seen a bald eagle in the wild until a few monthes ago. One lives close to my plant.
I never realized how large they are- it's amazing.

Bet that scared the **** out of you when it hit the truck.

There's a beautiful bald eagle that lives near my house. They are majestic.

I've seen a few at a distance in Alaska, but wasn't aware that the population in the lower 48 had recovered. That's good news.

There's a lesson there for street racers: Road kill just ain't worth it.

 

Good job Kelly. It was very good to go back for the Bald Eagle. Most people would just keep on going.

Apparently, Ben Franklin wanted to name the Turkey as the national bird. Imagine that! Would it have meant Bald Eagles for Thanksgiving?

The picture of the people standing around the bird are all smiling, like they are all proud of this kill. Though it was an accident, it's not a damn football game! This should have been a somber momment!
