My 348 has 13,000 miles on it and while the gearbox shifts " ok " after it's warmed up, it still has that Ferrari notchiness. I changed the gear oil to RedLine and didn't really notice any difference. Here's the improbable improvement. I bought and installed one of those larger, heavier chromed shift knobs for looks, and blow me down if the weight and size have made a remarkable improvement in the shift action. I guess that the stock black plastic knob had me shifting with my fingers because it felt too small in the palm of my hand, the larger knob feels right in the palm and the transformation is nothing short of miraculous. Hope this isn't old info.
