Cos i'm a lazy sod I had a Zymol specialist come up from the Midlands today, to give the Murcie a total going over. Took him 8 hours using a load of stuff including this vintage wax stuff at £1600 a tub! Anyway it looks stunning, well worth it for £250. apparently its the only stuff that stops birdsh*t ruining the paint. I was sceptical but am convinced now. Have'nt seen it in the sun but even in bad light its like glass.

I purposely did'nt put a pic of the front end. It is well and truly shotblasted - and I mean its more chips and scrapes than you have ever seen.
    Thanks for the comments tho!

I've recently gone back to Zymol as well. Just done the full works on the 456 with clay, HD cleanse professional and also tried out the new 'rouge' wax. It's never looked better, and these guys are great to deal with: http://www.vertar.com/zymol.asp

I was working the motorshow some years ago when, just off the stand there was a chap peering into a Zymol bag that he had obviously just bought with a concerned look on his face.

I asked him if he was OK and he replied that he was unsure if he had just been ripped off by the salesman on the Zymol stand, as he had just parted with vast amounts of money for "not a lot of polish".

I assured him that it was good stuff, if a little time consuming to use and asked him what he drove.

"A black BMW 750i long wheel base" came the reply.

    I giggled for ages.

Looks good Simon but please ditch that stupid 4 pipe exhaust. It looks like you couldnt afford a Zonda!

The Tubi at VMAX looked and sounded perfect.

    little overhead margins too.

car looks very good simon .... i conjured up this picture of you, sat in a deck chair, donning a panama ...... a cuban in the left hand, and a nice cold beer in the right,..... watching some poor geezer sweatin' his goolies off, polishing the motor ..... "Oi !, you've missed a bit"
