    Great angle...
Just look at it!!! No matter what anybody said... I think the 308 is the most beautiful Ferrari. It got the classic curve lines with the modern pop-up light, and wagy aerodynamic. The air outlet slots right behide the light is so great. It has the shape of the 512BB with the air scoop of the Dino... nothing else like it. It is the lowest height in all 3 series. The two rounded tail lights set standard for Ferrari today... I believe it is the turning point of a classic Ferrari vs modern Ferrari.

    Hi AFire,
Long time to talk... My 308 had valve adjustment two weeks ago. The tapping noise are gone. The idle is quite stady at 950 rpm. It is in the paint shop for some paint repair. I was thinking about doing total paint respray. But still deciding. I have a real good deal from the shop owner that he will do it at cost for me because he want to do mine and set an example to all my friends as what he can do and hope his work on my 308 will bring customers for him. But It take three monthes... still thinking.

You know I have been talking with these guys in Germany http://www.ramspott-brandt.de/ about upgrading my Lotus Esprit gearbox. The deal is that I have to send my gearbox to them for upgrading. Have you heard of them? The problem about the Lotus Esprit is gearbox. If you keep modifing the engine or turbo, the original gearbox will be not able to handle such high power. I now hear some whining sound out of my gearbox. But if I have it changed, I will be able to do 0to60 in 3+ second and top at 310 km/h.
At the moment the engine can take me up the that power but the gearbox keep saying no more....

If I totally done all then I will be a real happy dude. Having my classic beautyful 308 and a superfast Lotus Esprit to take on the 360 and Gallado...
    What's up with you AFire???

    Hey Patpong,

Check out the thread "Paint My Ride" (Showroom), and let us folks know what driving in Bankok can be like. Also, Jerry's art work in that thread might interest you.

    Hope all is well.

    Cheers, Hank

    Dear Pat,

sounds nice! I'm sure R&B tuning are a good choice for the Lotus gearbox. Please give us some informations about the paint job at your 308.

We have many snow at this time (see pic, sorry, no Ferrari but also a cavallo, our Arabian stallion by DWD TABASCO, for the members who know). No chance to go any mile with the 308, but spring is coming soon.

    Best regards,

    Hi AFire,
I just got back from cleaning and waxing my MGA ready for classic car show tomorrow. It is a charity Classic Car show for Tsunami survivors. We will be joining with UNICEF for this fund raising. It will be held in downtown Bangkok. I'll give you the link to see our activities. Well, actually the pictures will be at http://www.sundaymorningdrive.com in may be a week time.
Nice Stallion you got. What a beautiful view you have... Remind me of the time I was in high school in Salt Lake City, Utah. Snow on ground for nearly 5 monthes.
I am glad you heard of R&B tuning. So far they have been quite helpful.
The respray on my 308 will be from bear metal. They have finished the Lamborghini Urrago which came out very nice indeed.
Sorry your 308 has become garage queen against her own will....

    Hi Hank,
I did give my comment... during business hours is bad. But when I come to think of it. Since we have no speed limit on our super highways. I take this traffic any time. Where in the world can you do 280 or 300 km/h legally on an empty street early sunday morning... and that's a lot of fun..... trust me Hank.

Very nice picture but I think it's a 1/18 model by Kyosho.
