    At least two had the VINs covered up... i have 44 confirmed... i never got the black 575 with the modular wheels and yellow calipers... The Challenge Stradale that looked like a 360 Challenge also had the VIN covered up... i'm pretty sure i got ALMOST everything else, though... How many F40s were there...? i think i documented only three...

    I'll tell this one.

    Carbon got in at about 12am, and when he got back in from walking the Strip at 2:45am Shawn and I were in our beds already. So Carb hadn't gone to the garage and seen the cars yet, and when we mentioned the black Enzo and the black 430 he haaaaad to go right then. We all went down there and the quick trip to see the cars turned into an FML database VIN logging fiesta for Carb.

    At about 3:10am 4 or 5 security guards come running (with 2 on bikes) and surround us, and demands that Carbon turn over his camera - grilling us on why we're there. None of the guards had been briefed on what our VIP passes *and* wristbands looked like. We were trying to explain we were event guests and that Carbon was a rep from a Sponsor and his job was to keep a database. Finally the lead guard gets off his walkie-talkie and apologizes and asks to photocopy my pass so the whole patrol team sees one and everything is cool. Then a young guard brought it back and talked cars with us until nearly 4am.

    You know, some people don't like turbos, but I LOVE the whine of the spool-up, the rocket-launch acceleration and the blast of the wastegate.

    There really is nothing like a black Enzo... In a dimly lit parking garage full of some of the world's most colorful and exotic cars, the Enzo stood out like the moon amongst the stars... It really is beyond reality... It's so surreal... All it did, all weekend, was sit in the garage and already i'm emotionally attached...

    Well, I was at the courtesy desk at the departure gate getting a new seat, and I look over to the guy next to me and it's Danny, the guitar playing dude from Boston (he was in a blue outfit with a guitar on his back too). He looked over and we said hey to each other. That's all. But it was just funny to run into him after our conversation.
