Ty, I'm no slouch you know ...
Don't be so hard on yourself, judge, you're a tremendous slouch.

Such a great movie - thanks for the welcome. You all seem to know Fcars (that is quite the understatement), anyone know of a 456 pre-2000 out there? I have checked the normal spots (i.e. here, FCofA, Hemmings, FML, even my mechanic) - must be clean, no stories and serviced. Appreciate any thoughts! Thx.

The 456 in my opinion is a beautiful car. However, stay away from the '95 model it's a nightmare. Also from a financial point of view, the 456 is pretty much a lead weight when it somes to resale value.

Just to be fair, when I say "Lead Weight" I meant the car depreciates like a normal car.

JJ, welcome to the forum - MaN uP next time we all go out and come meet us.

Saw your profile - the cars you're looking at are pretty cool - none are bad choices. I'd take any one of them, but if you gots the cash to go 550, thats the one to have. The Mondial T and 456 are great cars too, but they are COMPLETELY different animals.

Btw, the 456 is the best value of the bunch, because its a great car with poor resale value, which means you can pick one up very cheap.

    Cheers,
    David

I agree with David...again I would caution against the really cheap 95 models. It's a money pit.

You can call Ferrari of Long Island's Service and ask for Luigi (tell him that I asked you to call him) and ask him about the '95 456.
